Yesterday, we worked on utilizing Hypothesis to annotate Cohen and Rosenzweig’s Digital History. Through this process we were able to go through each section and see what portions of the text had out of date information, as well as things that we had questions about.
It was interesting to read the articles at the beginning of the year for information, and then re read it later in the semester from a critical and analytical perspective. We split into teams of two, and tag teamed the information in hopes of annotating quickly and efficiently. I’m interested to see what changes end up getting made to the text in the future!
Emma,
Thanks for partnering with me on this. I agree with you. It was interesting to reread the text after we have done so much on the project. Some things made absolutely no sense to me the first time around! Now, I feel like I understand at least a little bit more. Hypothesis.is was a new experience for me. Hopefully I can remember what I learned when we make our corrections this week.
